I grew up surrounded by highly creative individuals. My father was one of them. He would introduce me to many of his creations, but I was particularly interested in his music. I started learning the guitar when I was nine years old. As a young boy I would listen and play to everything that I could find in my dad’s CD collection. When I was a teenager, I started noticing that many of my peers were interested to know more about the music that I played. Hence, I started giving private guitar lessons at a young age of 15. I believe there is no limit to what my students are capable of doing – I will always find a way to get my students to surprise themselves when they achieve what they thought they were incapable of doing. Tol this day, music is still where my heart is and doing what God wants to do through music is something that I would never stop striving for. I have had a life-changing experience through music and being able to be a part of my students’ journey towards that experience would certainly be an honour. In addition to teaching, I play in the Planetshakers Band and it is such an honour and joy to do what I love.
