Why do SCD Pathways Program at Planetshakers College?
Get a head start on Bible College
Want to study at Bible College when you leave school? Why wait? With the Pathways program you can study accredited Bible College units as part of your VCE. This means that you would have a lighter study load in your first year or even finish your degree sooner.
Boost your ATAR
Planetshakers College units can be taken as a fifth or sixth subject in your VCE. This means that your results will contribute towards your ATAR.
Experience College Life
As Planetshakers College students you will have access to the college campus, college library and study spaces, student activities and other aspects of college life. You will receive a student card and college email. You may choose to study online or on campus with permission from your school. Lectures are held on Wednesdays.
How do I apply?
Step 1:
Advise your school principal or Year 12 Coordinator as soon as possible that you are taking Higher Education Studies in VCE as your fifth and/or sixth subject.
Step 2:
Complete your expression of interest or register your interest by emailing [email protected]

What will you study?
Offered at Planetshakers College Melbourne. Planetshakers College is a member institution of the Sydney College of Divinity (SCD). From 2023, VCAA has approved the inclusion of two SCD units to the HES suite of studies.
Semester 1: Introduction to Theological Study (P7104)
Semester 2: Introduction to Biblical Studies (B7101)
Students would enrol in the above two units with Planetshakers College directly as part of their year 12 studies. Taken together, these units replace a year 12 subject. This area of study will be credited towards the student’s VCE studies and contribute to their ATAR. Students will receive full academic credit for these units towards the Bachelor of Theology (3 years full time) offered by Planetshakers College.
