Access Granted
Access Granted reminds us that through Jesus’ sacrifice, the veil has been torn and nothing now separates us from God’s presence. We have full, unlimited access to His power, healing, joy, peace, and provision—and we also have authority to deny the enemy access to our lives. This is our divine inheritance. Use it boldly!
I was praying and asking the Lord what He wanted to say to us today—and I felt Him remind me of a powerful truth from Scripture. It’s more than just a nice story—it’s a divine reality that changes everything. The title of this message is Access Granted. Because of what Jesus has done, we now have full, unrestricted access to the presence and power of God.
Matthew 27:50–51 (AMP) says,
“And Jesus cried out again with a loud, agonised voice, and gave up His spirit [voluntarily, sovereignly, dismissing and releasing His spirit from His body in submission to His Father’s plan]. And at once the veil [of the Holy of Holies] of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; the earth shook and the rocks were split apart.”
The moment Jesus gave up His spirit, at once the veil was torn. That veil represented separation between us and the presence of God. But Jesus tore it down! Now, nothing is holding us back. Access has been granted.
No striving. No lack. No fear. Through Jesus’ sacrifice, we’ve been given complete access—not just to be near God, but to encounter Him boldly.
Hebrews 4:16 (NLT) says:
“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
Not timidly. Not cautiously. But boldly. We’re not outsiders looking in—we’re sons and daughters invited to the throne.
Psalm 100:4–5 reminds us how we approach this access:
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”
We don’t enter God’s presence with grumbling. We come in with gratitude, recognising that the doors are wide open—because Jesus made it so.
I once had the privilege of attending and enjoying an NBA game and getting to experience it with a VIP pass. VIP passes, backstage entry, unlimited food—you name it. But the power of access only matters if you use it.
And it’s the same with God. He’s given us full access—so what are you doing with it?
You have the authority to step into peace, joy, healing, and provision. God’s presence isn’t a theory; it’s available right now. You’re not meant to watch from afar—you’re invited in.
When I first started dating my wife I’d be invited to her house, her parents home. I was so nervous of her parents I wouldn’t even open the fridge! Not because they told me not to—but because I didn’t believe I was worthy.
Some of us live like that with God. We’ve been invited in, but we still live on the edge, afraid to receive what’s already ours. But when you realise that you’ve been granted full access, you don’t hesitate—you walk in boldly.
Let me remind you of what your pass includes:
- Power
Acts 1:8 – “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.” - Freedom
2 Corinthians 3:17 – “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” - Joy
Psalm 16:11 – “In His presence there is fullness of joy.” - Healingbr> Isaiah 53:5 – “By His stripes we are healed.”
- Peace
2 Thessalonians 3:16 – “May the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way.” - Provision
Philippians 4:19 – “My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.”
Just as you’ve been granted access, you also have the authority to deny access—to fear, to anxiety, to sickness, to anything that’s not of God.
Matthew 18:18 (AMP) says:
“Whatever you bind [forbid, declare to be improper and unlawful] on earth shall have [already] been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose [permit, declare lawful] on earth shall have [already] been loosed in heaven.”
Don’t let the enemy stroll into your life with no authority. He’s been rendered powerless. Deny him access. Say it: Fear is denied. Sickness is denied. Worry is denied. Unforgiveness is denied.
Because of Jesus, you have full access. Don’t live with a “visitor pass” mentality—walk confidently as a child of God with complete access to His power, peace, joy, freedom, healing, and provision. And when the enemy comes knocking, remember—you have the authority to deny him entry.
Access has been granted. Let’s live like it.
Father,
Thank You for the gift of access. Thank You that through Jesus, nothing separates us from You. Today, we receive Your love, power, and peace. Help us to live boldly, denying the lies of the enemy and walking in the fullness of what You’ve given us. We declare—Access Granted!
In Jesus' Name,
Amen
