Bachelor of Ministry

The Bachelor of Ministry offers units in Personal Transformation, Pastoral & Spiritual Care, Mental Health Response and an Introduction to Pastoral Ministry & Theology. You will receive training in advanced pastoral ministry practices, preparing you for leading ministry roles in and out of the context of the local Church. Those who have completed this degree will also be professionally qualified to work in Chaplaincy positions. Students in the Bachelor of Ministry program are invited to participate in Planetshakers Cape Town Conference, and planetBOOM conferences in Townsville and Brisbane.

3 years (Full Time students)


Entry Requirements

Successful completion of Associate Degree of Theology and Ministry or equivalent.


English Proficiency

Applicants whose entry qualifications were obtained in an institution where English is not the language of instruction normally require a minimum IELTS (or equivalent) score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in all bands of the test. A student can be admitted provisionally into the Associate Degree of Theology and Ministry when they have an IELTS result of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in all bands of the test.


Future Pathways

Students with the Bachelor of Ministry may continue on to the Master of Leadership or Master of Arts.
