Master of Arts

The Master of Arts is a coursework masters degree where students will select from advanced units in Bible, Theology, Ministry and Leadership. The Master of Arts is designed for maximum flexibility so that students can choose subjects according to their own interest and calling. Students studying the Master of Arts are eligible to do a study tour for academic credit.

Course Duration

18 months including Graduate Diploma of Arts (Full Time students)


Entry Requirements

A completed undergraduate degree in any discipline.


English Proficiency

Applicants whose entry qualifications were obtained in an institution where English is not the language of instruction normally require a minimum IELTS (or equivalent) score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in all bands of the test. A student can be admitted provisionally into the Associate Degree of Theology and Ministry when they have an IELTS result of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in all bands of the test.

Course Outcomes

Students who completed the Master of Arts will have:


An integrated understanding of an advanced body of knowledge in one or more theologically-related disciplines or areas of practice, including recent developments in the theological disciplines and/or their practice

Understanding research principles and methods applicable to these theological disciplines and their practice
