Bachelor of Theology

The Bachelor of Theology consolidates your Biblical and theological studies with units in Christian Apologetics, New Testament Greek and the exegesis of several New Testament books. The culmination of this Bachelor degree is a Church Planting trip, where students will support an international Planetshakers Campus.. The course prepares you for vocational ministry in a role that requires preaching and teaching.

3 years (Full Time students)

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of Associate Degree of Theology and Ministry or equivalent.

English Proficiency

Applicants whose entry qualifications were obtained in an institution where English is not the language of instruction normally require a minimum IELTS (or equivalent) score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in all bands of the test. A student can be admitted provisionally into the Associate Degree of Theology and Ministry when they have an IELTS result of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in all bands of the test.

Future Pathways

Students with the Bachelor of Theology may continue on to the Master of Theology.

Course Outcomes

Upon completion of the Bachelor of Theology, you will have:

Learned to read, understand and translate sections of the New Testament from the original Greek

Understood how to give reasoned defenses for arguments opposing the Christian faith

Surveyed the Biblical origin, historical development and theological basis of Pentecostalism through studies of Pneumatology and a survey of the Corinthian letters

Completed a thorough exegesis of books such as, Revelation and the Gospel of John
