DAY 35: YES! NO MATTER THE COST

Planetshakers Team 8 July 2025

Scripture

Romans 12:1-2 NLT
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Devotion

Giving ourselves fully to God is the greatest expression of love we can offer. He’s not asking for just part of our lives — He’s asking for everything: our time, our dreams, our story, our future.

Paul calls us to be a living sacrifice, holy and set apart for God’s purpose. That means we live with one goal: to please His heart and serve His mission.
Saying “Yes, no matter the cost” could mean:

  • I will follow Jesus, even when it costs me everything.
  • I will obey, even when I don’t understand.
  • I will keep going, even when I feel like giving up.

Why? Because He showed me the purest love. Because I’ve seen His mercy and grace, dying for me on the Cross. Because He never gave up on me. God is worthy. He is worth everything.

And He has called us to take His Word to every corner of the earth, because He doesn’t want anyone to be lost.

Let’s take the opportunity today to say: Yes to His calling. Yes to His purpose. Yes to giving our lives. Let’s go all out — for His Kingdom, for His glory. Yes… no matter the cost.

Prayer

Father, take my life — I lay it down before You today.

You loved me first, so I give You everything in return. Make me a living sacrifice, holy and set apart for Your Kingdom.

If there’s anything in me that doesn’t please You, remove it with Your love. Shape me. Use me. Send me.

Today I say Yes to You. Yes to Your calling. Yes to Your purpose. Yes to giving my life to You. Today I say Yes! No matter the cost, I will go.

Amen.
