Divine authority isn’t just something we live under — it’s something we live with.
Let’s continue from where we left off yesterday — exploring our relationship with the Holy Spirit, as He teaches us to walk with Divine Authority.
From the beginning, God has desired to dwell with His people. Jesus fulfilled that longing, and before returning to the Father, He made a powerful promise: the Holy Spirit, our Helper, will be with us forever.
John 14:16 reminds us that divine authority doesn’t disappear when things get tough. We’re not left to navigate life alone, powerless or uncertain. Jesus made sure of that by sending the Holy Spirit to remain with us — to dwell with us. That means we don’t just carry a calling; we carry God Himself. And where He is, there is wisdom, peace, power, and boldness.
You may feel unqualified, overwhelmed or under attack, but when the Helper is with you, you walk in divine authority — not by your strength, but by His presence.
A woman once shared how, during a high-pressure UN meeting in South Africa, she quietly prayed, “Holy Spirit, help.” Instantly, peace flooded her heart. Ideas began to flow, and she spoke with confidence. That moment led to an unexpected promotion into a leadership role no Christian woman had ever held before. That’s what happens when we live with divine authority.
When you’re aware of who is with you, it changes how you walk. You walk with boldness. You speak with confidence. You pray with faith. You live with divine authority.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You for sending the Holy Spirit, my constant Helper.
I don’t have to walk through life alone — Holy Spirit is with me always. Remind me daily that I live with divine authority and that I am never alone.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
