DAY 4: BE FAITHFUL UNDER HIS VISION

Planetshakers Team 8 July 2025

Scripture

Matthew 25:23 NIV
“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

Devotion

In the Parable of the Talents, Jesus reminds us that what matters most is not how much we have, but what we do with what we’ve been given. Whether you’ve been entrusted with many resources or just a few, God calls you to be faithful.

The first two servants took risks. They worked hard and multiplied what was entrusted to them. The third servant? He let fear and comfort control him. He buried his talent. He avoided risk — but also avoided growth. Avoiding growth = avoiding trust. Trust involves stepping out in faith.

What if the person who received one talent had the ability to multiply it into thousands, but the opportunity was missed because of fear?

God is not impressed by how much we have. He is moved by the way we use everything He has deposited into our hands. Your gifts, your voice, your time — none of them are too small in God’s hands. When you step out in obedience, no matter how little it seems — Heaven celebrates! If we use the gifts and talents that God entrusted to us, good fruit will always be present in our lives.

We are good enough in God’s eyes to do incredible things that will leave a mark for generations. God gave us talents and gifts — and under His divine authority, all things are possible! Today is the day to use and multiply that talent in us. God wants to give us more than we could ever imagine. He wants to put us in charge of many things. Let’s be faithful under His vision.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for trusting me with gifts, abilities, and opportunities. Help me to be faithful with what I have. Thank You, because under Your vision I have courage to step out, to serve the community, to multiply my gift as much as possible. Teach me to use all You’ve given me for Your glory.

Help me to see what You see. May I one day hear You say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
