As Planetshakers, we have always taken the call to disciple nations seriously. Because of your generosity, we have been able to freely
serve our local communities as well as nations around the globe.
At Empower, we were honoured to gift over 5,000 presents to children and families doing it tough last Christmas. Each week, more
than 1,400 people receive food support through our centres, with an average of 120 new recipients joining us on their journey toward
stability. Since 2020, we’ve had the privilege of providing over 3.5 million meals. But more than that, we’ve been able to offer connection, care, and a place where hope is restored.
Believe Community Hubs continue to be a blessing to those in rural communities. In addition to our ongoing Youth Club & Kids Club programs, we ran our first Believe Clinic Day in Mandress, Papua New Guinea this March. A team of medical professionals from Australia partnered with local clinicians to see 230 patients, including five pregnant mothers who were able to see their babies for the first time through ultrasound scanning. The local doctor we were working with called it the most successful medical rural outreach he has been a part of.
Our Future Leaders Program is growing annually, with three new provinces in both Papua New Guinea and Fiji –representing hundreds of high schools–signing on to be a part of our program this year. We are also seeing incredible opportunities emerge in Kenya, Rwanda and South Africa. As we continue to speak into the mindset of the next generation, we are releasing brand new BelieveTV content this year along with the exciting launch of our YouTube channel. Young people all over the world are looking for hope, purpose and a vision for their future, and we believe God has positioned us to be a culture-shaping voice of influence to the next generation.
It is astounding how much impact a building can have on people’s lives. Since we opened our church building in Cape Town, we have seen twice the number of new visitors in 4 years than in the entire 10 years before that! Much of your generous giving also goes towards buses for church services as well as Planetshakers Conference in Cape Town. Incredibly, over 17,000 visitors have come through our doors since 2021 and we have seen over 11,000 salvations.
The upgraded Empower space in Melbourne is the best facility of its kind in our city. Our vision has always been to serve the person as a whole–not only in meeting physical needs, but social, mental, emotional and spiritual needs as well. The first class nature of our Food Relief Centres is a powerful statement of value, honour and dignity to those often considered “the least of these.” Empower Cape Town has also grown significantly since we established our facility there, distributing over 10,000 food parcels and reaching more than 35,000 people with life-changing support. We continue to believe for permanent spaces for our North and South-East campuses, as well as in Singapore and Port Moresby, trusting that God has given us divine authority to take territory everywhere we go!
Planetshakers Conferences continue to gain momentum all around the world. In addition to our powerful conferences in Melbourne and Brisbane, we are running conferences in Cape Town and Kuala Lumpur! Planetshakers Conference Malaysia is already sold out and we are believing for 5,000 registrations in Cape Town.
As always, Planetshakers Band has been taking new territory, touring in Brazil, Bolivia and Ecuador for the very first time in October 2024. We are also back in Manila this July with 4 sold out nights–over 38,000 seats! Our music continues to shake the planet with the sound of heaven, seeing over 125 million streams on Spotify alone last year. We also have a combined following of 5.5 million people across our social media platforms. Thank you for partnering together to bring our breakthrough praise and worship beyond the four walls of our church. We are overwhelmed by the testimonies we constantly receive from people all around the world who have had life-changing encounters at our Conferences, worship nights and in their very own homes as they lift up the name of Jesus.
