Day 2: Nobody Like You

God has given us a reason to sing – there is no one like Him! He is incomparable. This song is a celebration of the finished work of Jesus that has set you and I free. A declaration that God almighty has indeed given us a reason to rejoice and revel in the freedom with which He has purchased. Indeed, living life with God is one of great celebration and recognition that He is worthy of all of our praise because of what He has done for us; set us free!

Psalm 86:8 [NIV] “Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.”

Isaiah 40:26 [NLT] “Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing.”

Romans 8:31 [NIV] “What, then, shall we say in response to these things If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Today, ask God today for a revelation of his incomparable nature. Do you believe that you could search the whole world and not find anyone or anything that even comes close to being as powerful as God? Do you believe that God has set you free? Maybe there are circumstances in your life at the moment that seem overwhelming and more powerful than God. Perhaps the last thing you feel right now is the freedom you have in Christ. Read these two Bible verses over and over again until they start to sink into your spirit. Friend, Christ has done all of the work. He has set you free. He is for you! God is incomparable in strength! There is nothing that He cannot do. There is no situation that he cannot break through. No deeds compare to His; He has the final word and His word is for you! To bless you, to encourage you, to remind you that you are free.

Take a moment tonight to look up at the stars and be reminded that his great power and strength are like no other. Not a single star is missing or out of place; how much more does He care about you?
