FreeToBeKids exists to rescue shelter and set free children who are extremely exploited.

Our safehouses cater for children who have suffered some of the worst forms of abuse: slave labour; organized child prostitution; sexual and physical abuse within their families; as well as children who are at risk of these types of abuse.

FreeToBeKids started in August of 2005 originally to give aid to children who became vulnerable because of the Boxing Day tsunami of 2004. Since then we have become established as a not for profit organisation, set up to rescue and house exploited children in India and Uganda.

Our aim over the next five years is to duplicate the work of child rescue in places where children are exploited due to armed conflict, famine, and poverty. Hotspots that we have earmarked are the Philippines, South America, Western Europe, Sierra Leone and West Africa.
