“You are a Beautiful Woman”

Real beauty lies within each one of us. It is unique. It is ever growing through the ups and downs of life. This world seems obsessed with outer beauty and is in a mad chase to find the secrets to sustain this beauty. They have missed the beauty in the many lines that mark our faces, telling a life time of stories, triumphs and victories. They have missed the beauty that the generations have passed down to us reflecting our heritage, our history and the countless sacrifices made to put us on this earth. They have missed the greatest thing of all…. that we were all created in the unique image of God who loves each one of us passionately, unconditionally and without reservation. We are a kaleidoscope of beauty reflecting the glory of God.

Beautiful Woman is a ministry for women. Its vision is to empower every woman from every background, age and colour, to be exactly what God intended them to be. It is about finding our unique beauty and reflecting it to this grey world. It is about illuminating the light of Christ within us to bring about the Kingdom of God.

Someone said to me recently, “All the girls in your church are so beautiful.” I’m sure if you saw us without our trimmings you would see us as everyday people. I love to dress up. I love make up. I love the latest fashion. What I believe that woman saw though was a group of girls all reflecting Jesus and being confident with who they are – beautiful women of God.

My desire through this ministry is that you would find who you are; who you are in Christ and who you are called to be. This world is a better place because of you. It’s time we all stepped up to the mark with a greater confidence and understanding of who’s daughter we are, of who is cheering us on in the grandstand and what we can accomplish in this life. For all those that have gone before us, for all those that stand beside us and for all those that will join the race because of us, it’s time to get up, dust ourselves off and march towards our promised land.
